I have an aversion to the "natural hippie organic" stores myself. But I'm a label reader and very conscious of what I put into my family, while at the same time having to balance this with having my Connor who will eat only about 5 things in the entire world. I cook most everything from scratch, so a lot of what I buy isn't a problem. Still, though, I sometimes feel like I'd have to can everything myself to be sure. Corn syrup sucks, and Mexican coke is the best! (I think Jones Sodas are sugar-based, too, but I might be wrong about that, as we don't do a lot of soda or juice.)

we don't have an aversion to them so much as they don't carry a lot of the things we like. stores like that are limited in selection.
i don't cook from scratch exactly but close sometimes. i do feel like unless i grew and made everything myself there is really no way to trust anything. i t can be kind of scary.
jones soda did recently go to actual sugar in their sodas. and i think there are some other brands now that are doing it as well.
