 This has been a pretty prominent story today and I'm sure many of you have heard of it but I needed to rage a lil bit:

Americans Detained While Taking Kids Across Border : Now, don't let that headline fool you. They're not kidding when they say that they were literally TAKING a busload of children into another country, to a HOTEL, where they HOPED

I just heard about this on npr. Turns out they've been arrested for illegal child trafficking. Some of the kids weren't even orphans and their parents had been told the kids were going for a quick vacation until the worst of the quake aftermath was over. And they were being taken to an orphanage! ::sigh:: it's no wonder so many foreign gov'ts don't trust missionaries...
