Wow. You did a great job for a first vid with a new program! I love the story that you tell of our poor, damaged Derek.
The extra movement that you added to the clips works really well in some parts of the vid, but in others it's distracting, so in future vids you may want to tone it down a little. I know how hard that is when you've found a new toy that you want to play with and I think it's awesome that you tried so many effects and color changes. You've got some very good instincts there.
I'm very much looking forward to your next video (and I hope this comment didn't come off as telling you how to vid, because I so didn't mean it to).
There were are a few places that I may one day go back and tweak a bit... but at this point my minds on another project :)
The movement was one thing I was worried about and I actually tried a few different ones in a lot of places... but eventually I'd just get irked and continue on since I couldn't get it just right.
There's a few other places I'm not too happy with... I messed up the timing on two color changes at least but the program was being screwy with me when I was trying to fix it >.< I'm afraid I was losing my patience a bit >.>
