Woo, Jesse vid!

This is probably not exactly the response I was meant to have, but goodness, Derek is attractive, isn't he? In a scruffy, post-traumatic kind of way.

This is a good look at Jesse.

The vid feels dark, frenetic, and desperate. I like the water imagery with the rain, pool, submarine. and how you put together the images of Riley washing the dirt off herself, and Riley bleeding in the tub. Oh, and the flashes of lightning from the time machine, and the general flashes of light. Your vid made me think of how Jesse's figuratively struggling to keep her head afloat, "just a little further". And Riley is what Jesse "builds up", her planned lifesaver for the Resistance. And the irony of the "it's easy, friend" sung over bloody hands, death, and disaster.

I love that you made a Jesse-centric video! (And on a superficial note... she sure is gorgeous, cuts on her face or not!) Is the final dissonant note part of the Astronautalis track? So compelling: your video really underscores how entangled Jesse, Riley, and Derek were in that storyline of murder, strife, and misery.
