I've complained over the past few years about how we never get any snow. I am NOT complaining this year

I don't think it has snowed much there while I am in town, I've been there while there is left-over snow still on the ground, but not much has fallen in my presence. Maybe you need a lucky snow-be-gone tiger charm.
