LOL "PIG WON'T" IS THE CHARACTER'S NAME? Oh that is way too confusing for children. (I want to name my new kitty "Doesn't" because I reject the hegemony nouns have over names, but the appeal of this ( x2 because it'd be truncated to "Does," which means the opposite of the full name AND SO NICELY PARALLELS HIS BLACK/WHITE COLORING) completely escaped everyone except my mother.)
KITTY IN A TREE I love how awkward the whole adventure looks.
Honestly, I think it was written for the age range who wouldn't think twice about a pig having a negated modal verb for a last name. Like, they'd be too young and not have enough presumptions about the English language to be like HEY THAT'S A VERB AND DOES NOT BELONG THERE like us.
Um I get it and please name your kitten Doesn't! Also because the sound of "duz" is a really cool nickname. Also rofl @ noun hegemony.
The journey was SO awkward. She was pretty graceful on her way up, the whole time with me cautioning, "Sophia don't go up there. Sophia. SOPHIA STOP" and she's all like, "dude i've got this shup" and then suddenly STOPS and realizes "shit. how do i go back." I think she turned around and tried going down different ways at least four times in her descent.

And, um, I don't get the pig title. What's it mean?! Deaf boy is confused!

And right? Isn't that book title silly? Pig Won't is the pig's name, I assume because he's stubborn and insists that he won't do a lot of things.
