You have my full sympathy about the house repairs. If you didn't do it now, it'd have been worse later.

Thank you. I've tried to remind myself of that, but it's still sad not to see her waiting for me at the gate. :(

Yeah, that's what I think, too. The house repairs have been pushed back a couple of months due to weather. We can't get a stretch of days that doesn't call for storms, so we're going to have to wait until it gets hot and the atmosphere stabilizes.
