He's really very laid back. I can't recall us ever having a puppy that was so sweet-natured. We like big dogs, too. We've only had a couple that were smaller. Most of our dogs have been large. ;)

Thank you! It's nice to be back! ~grin~

Oh, that's awesome. A big dog with a laid back disposition is the best thing ever. There was a lady down the street from our old house who had an Irish Wolfhound that just seemed like the most sweet-natured dog ever.

~nods~ That's what I think of when anyone says "dog". The first thing that comes to mind is a big old friendly, slobbery dog.

He really is a sweetie! He's very laid back, and he's already being spoiled rotten. ;)

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww! He's going to be adorable his entire life, isn't he? (In obnoxious baby talk: Yes he is... yes he is.)

Happy Thanksgiving weekend. May your life continue to be peacefully, and healthfully boring.

Hee! I think he most likely will be adorable his entire life. (And my sister has the market cornered on the baby talk to the puppy. LOL)

Thank you, and happy Thanksgiving weekend to you, too! Boring does have its own rewards. ~nods~

His mother was huuuuuge, so it's likely that he'll be big, too. And oh yes, someday we'll look back at those pictures and marvel that he was ever so small. ;)

That's just what you need - a big old galloping puppy in the midst of the cats. LOL

~nods~ There's always a day when they try to climb back into someone's lap and can't do it, and they're always so confused.

my host parents in Virginia had Great Danes, and of them solved the problem: her ass would sit in your lap (and it was a bony ass!), and her front paws would stand on the ground. Worked for her, she loved it. I did not ;-)
