Which is huge, and I'm not sure it's allowed being a threesome, and I don't want to hear the effing bitching if it gets nominated because it's a threesome and the purity of Severus and Hermione has been sullied.

If Hermione and Snape are in a story, that should be good enough. If it's not something that someone wants to read, then fine, but damn, I get tired of certain things in the 'ship, too. That doesn't mean those things won't (or don't deserve to) get nominated. It just means that I have to suck it up and deal, which is what other people should do, too. ;)
