This art is absolutely gorgeous. I love them all. I totally didn't notice the 'beast' in the second one until I looked at it a second time. Too absorbed in looking at Kirk on the stairs, I suppose, but I kinda like that he blended in so much that it took me a second glance to notice him. :)

Hehe, I wanted the Beast look vague, both because I would assume that if you became this creature, you'd would sort of want to hide in the shadows and because there's so many interpretations of how the beast should look like (from giant hog, to bear, to lion, to demon looking thing with horns) that in the end I just did a brief hint of him so you could fill in the rest with your own mind.

It works well. Especially since in the story, Jim feels 'the Beast' watching him without really seeing him for a while after their first encounter.

All three of these are just beautiful. The Art Nouveau borders of the first and last tie them together very nicely, but I do like the three slightly different styles of the actual art ( ... )

These are gorgeous - I love the stain glass feel to them.

^_^ Thank you! Actually this sort of art style is called Art Nouveau, most of it is just absolutely gorgeous.

These are absolutely gorgeous! I love Jim's expression in the second one, and the tenderness of the third one.
