This afternoon, among other things, my mom and I went shopping at Long's (my fave drug store). When I got into the car, I saw a ladybug on my jeans! :) I got out so it could fly away, and after a bit more crawling, it opened its wings and flew over my head and into a nearby pine tree. We found a ladybug at the Point Reyes Lighthouse this weekend. Well, actually, on the path between the lighthouse and where we caught the shuttle bus.

Ricky was positive that ladybugs are supposed to be in hibernation this time of year. Do you know if he's right?
