Where to start?!? Again I'm soooo behind in my journaling! D: The main reason this frustrates/upsets me is because I love the ability to "record" the events going on in my life, just as I did as a teenager when I kept a paper journal/diary. And the longer I go without writing an entry in here, the more I forget what I wanted to write. *sigh

Anyway, no they didn't serve the Magners over ice. Is that how it's usually served in Scotland and/or Ireland? I would actuallly LIKE it that way, because I'm kind of a freak when it comes to cold drinks -- I like them VERY cold! Heck, I even use ice cubes in milk, which most people think is weird! But yeah, I think hard cider "on the rocks" would be very good! :) Speaking of that type of drink, have you ever tried Wyder's Cider? I'm pretty sure it's American. Their pear hard cider is the best, but the peach is good too.

Magners on ice is the only way I can drink it - it is nice with a bit of blackcurrant cordial in it too... I haven't tried Wyders, but I do like Koppaberg, which is a swedish pear cider (over here, they sell it in Ikea so you should have a look out when you are next there!)
Glad to hear you are getting on well though, Shawn seems like a sweetheart and you seem incredibly happy! Hooray!
Right, better get back to work! xx

So now you'll probably see something addressed to you at LJ, inviting you to join up with Facebook. *chuckle* Anyway, since I can't seem to find you on FB, and since I got tons of search results for Jules/Julie Buchanan, perhaps you can add me instead, since there are many less folks on FB with my name. :)
BTW, your office IT people are very wise to block the employees from being able to visit LiveJournal and/or Facebook whilst at work. Both of these sites are BIG time-wasters -- and I speak from experience! *blush again*

I have never eaten shepherd's pie but that looks delicious! I love Irish pubs.
