It's already time for bed tonight, but I wanted to record a dream I had LAST night. I was in a small auditorium or event hall. I was among an audience sitting in foldable/portable chairs. What a simultaneously bizarre and bittersweet dream! I haven't had any favorite bands have members that have died while I was into them, and I can just imagine being torn up about such an event if it were a suicide. =\ I'd be pretty upset if it were just a plain accident!

I wonder what sort of things your subconscious was trying to tell you, or if this was just a really random thing?

I think I remember you brought up Big Country when we drove to Alec's concert last year! (Hahaha, I first typed "earlier this year"...) I'll have to check them out sometime; just their genre is description enough to intrigue me!

I agree with Dragonkiri what a bittersweet dream. Hmmm...the last time I remember you going to their concert on the fourth of july one year...*sigh* HUGZ :)

Actually, I unfortunately never went to a Big Country concert except for the one time mentioned in this entry -- in San Francisco. I totally WISH I'd seen them more than once, tho! *sigh* :(

Anyhoo, the S.F. gig was part of a free concert series in Union Square sponsored by Live 105 (a radio station, for the non Bay Area folks reading this.) And I know that concert was not in July because I had to cut classes at SJSU on the day of the concert, and SJSU gets out in May. :) But now I'm totally curious what concert you're thinking of, cowgirlfriend!

I must have dreamt it or maybe misunderstood when you told me you went to see them, I swear I thought you went to see Big Country in Downtown San Jose for the fourth of July! I distinctly remember you told me you took the light rail, and went with an ex boyfriend... Now I am wondering if I did dream it, as my dreams are usually very vivid. Hmmmm....Strange! :P Well maybe not in my case. :P
