I tried working with GIMP and failed miserably. I wasn't trying anything complicated either - it was just import jpeg, enlarge background, crop a little & adjust image size. And I couldn't do it. *cries*
Why the heck did Apple discontinue the free versions of MacDraw and MacPaint??!!!! Arrgghh! Back in the day, it used to come bundled with the Macintosh and it was a snap to use.
So I ended up having to do a screen shot and yeah... it was a mess. T__T
From now on, I'll be drawing backwards baseball caps on Suigetsu and Juugo. If you color in Juugo's hair black and draw a beard on him, he does look awfully lot like Silent Bob.

This all started when someone wanted clarification on the translation - apparently, the scanlation made it sound like Karin AND Sasuke wanted to be together, but it's pretty clear in the original text that Karin's the only one showing interest (we all know that Sasuke is obsessed with Naruto). Finally got the raws, but by then someone else already replied. The "proper" translation is shown above because people always want to know "what's been said literally and not an interpretation." Bleah.
Because you know, if Suigetsu spoke English, he would totally call out Karin for being a skanky-assed ho. XD

I don't know about Japanese, but literal interpretation can get you in deep trouble in French! It's nothing like the actual meaning.
