As much as it's ANOTHER remake, it was the only film other than 'the Thing' to scare me as a kid. Every town has an Elm Street.

I thought the same thing. The really obvious answer is that films with his names attached are raking in huge sums of money.

We tried to watch the first Nightmare at the weekend, but then we got bored. I have that huge boxset they did and it will probably end up proppping up a bookshelf or something.
