Annie had a continuing mission, and so today she was knocking on the door to Jeff's office, recorder and notes in hand. "Uh, Professor Murdock?"

Well, if there was...

"My mother's not here!"

That was usually the right answer.

"...I'll remember that," Annie said slowly. "You're the co-teacher of Professor Madrox's class, right?"

"...Oh, that Professor Murdock."

Jeff composed himself, sliding out of his seat and onto his feet and padding over to the door to do Important Things like opening it.

"I teach with Jamie," he agreed. "...Professor Madrox."
