Hi! Well, I really don't read Harry Potter regardless of the incesssant hype of the series. Its good to see that there is a gay character in the popular series and now I await the "grand bonfires" and warcries of the conservative Jesus Crispies fanatics. I think J.K. Rowling was clever to make such revelation because if she would have said it before the series was done, then she would lose alot of her readers. Take care!

lol i've been reading it purly so I can join in conversations with my friends and family who are all potter huts ><;; Im amazed there hasn't already been burning's, I hav a friend of mine who was one of those born again types and a MASSIVE Lord of the Rings fan.....but thinks Harry Potter is satanic lol hmmm...not sure tolkein would have agreed ^_^

Your born-again Chirstian friend contradicts him/herself because there are wizards and magic in Lord of the Rings saga. Then again, Christians, whether born again, etc, end up contradicting themselves so its not surprising. Its predictable.

I think the reason why there hasn't been any uproars and the like is because maybe it hasn't sunk in yet or probably planning.

Then after you found out that Dumbledore is gay I meant after J.K.R announced it do you thing the rest of the mild characters are gay?

well, whoever you are, to answer your question.

I had believed Dumbledore to be gay long before this whole fuss came out. I didn't need J K to tell me for me to see it. As for the 'rest' of the characters, I alway thought Sirius was gay or at the least Bisexual, Voldermort I think was A-sexual if anything, I don't think sex ever really factored into the life he chose. There were other's who I thought might be but most of those changed as the books came out.

Though if I was to go by the film's - every single male in them was gay as the day is young lol You only have to watch the bridge/prefects bathroom scene in Goblet of fire to see just how gay they have managed to make them ><;
