I also really have a thing for "found family" kinds of stories, and this hit that note nicely. Family is something precious and rare to all five of these characters, and they're all slightly bewildered but grateful to have found it (when they're willing to admit it to themselves). You captured that really well here.
“I’m not hugging you,” Eliot says.
“Yeah, we’re too manly to hug,” Hardison says and barely manages to keep a straight face.

“What would Nana have done with me,” Nate says and glances at Hardison.
“The concussion would’ve been the least of your problems.” Hardison smiles as Nate gets in the car.
