“Not really.” Danny’s voice is a little flat. “I mean, what’s so great about Thanksgiving? It’s just Thursday with a parade and lots of Turkey. I could just as easy have plain Thursday.”
“What’s not great about Thanksgiving?” Flack should leave it alone. “I love Thanksgiving.”
“Shoulda known that.”
Something about the way Danny says it makes Flack suspicious. So this is supression...
“I’m not high.” And Flack manages to hold a frown on his face for a few seconds before breaking into a laugh at Danny’s long-suffering sigh.
“Give me the fucking control.” Danny can barely hide his grin.
“No.” Flack sets his mug on cushion between them to grab the control and hold it away at arm’s length. Danny snickers and catches Flack’s coffee before it spills. and regression all wrapped up in a wonderful scene of domesticity. I like Flack's awareness that there is something deeper going on there with Danny, but he's smart enough to let it go for now

Thanks. When geekslasher mentioned Thanksgiving, I had this image of them watching the Food Network and it all just spun out from there, but I really did want to find a way to have them domestic and still in character.
This is.....great. It's been such a long time since I actually read/commented on a Flack/Danny fic and well got hooked back on it since I recently started watching CSI NY again. =D
