I've always felt that Danny was a bit of a bastard.

That was a deeply disturbing story--in the best possible sense. You tackle stuff I couldn't begin to think about, and I love that about your work. It makes mine seem like fluff by comparison. It's gritty and painful and gutsy and almost hyper-real. I like this story because it takes Flack and Danny down a path I could very well see the two of them taking.

More please. ;)

Oh, you're absolutely right; I've always thought Danny was a bit of a bastard as well.

Thank you. This story was brewing in the back of my head for a long time. I'm drawn to stories where it's not easy, and I try to bring that in my own work, in a way that's true to the characters.

What jalabert said.

I loved it, especially the conversation between Lindsay and Flack.

Utter brilliance & realness :)

Thanks. That conversation was actually the first thing I wrote of this story.

I love the way you write. Always have, always will. This was great. And completely different from the way I write them. Me? I write the three of them fucking. Heh.

Wow, that was...wow--I have no trouble believing that it would happen like this, especially the idea of Danny not really knowing what he wants and Don acknowledging that he'll give him anything he asks for.

In the end, Danny and Flack have a history and Lindsay can't change that, no matter how much she may want to.

Excellent job on this, as always. :)

Thank you. This story spent a long time in the back of my head before I wrote it. It's true, though. Danny and Flack have a solid relationship--whether a person wants to read it as a friendship or something else--and that history has a weight that can't be dismissed whatever the circumstances.

Oh wow, your Danny is just SO perfect. So, so perfect. I just love the overall sense of confusion in this story. No one really knows what they want or who they want, and even though it's killing them, they can't let go... I definitely relate to that.

And I don't know if it was supposed to, but this made me laugh out loud, maybe because I can totally see Flack saying it: "You know what? No. Go away." Ha ha :D

Thanks. Danny... can be a bit perverse. And a bit of a bastard. He can't admit to himself what he really wants either, because it means to much to him. Flack's a little bit better at being honest with himself, but that doesnt' make it easy.
