Today was Atlanta's hottest day in the past seven years. We hit 100 with a heat index of 108-110. It's really fucking hot. And for me to be saying that? It's really fucking hot. Plus, we need rain something awful

Oh, these are fabulous. They all make beautiful use of language, and they're amazingly sensual, especially given the necessary brevity of each piece. I love all of them, and I'm particularly thrilled with the ones you wrote for me. Martha and Stella are just as perfect together as I thought they would be, and I also love the way you interpreted "static" for the DW prompt. That's so fitting, and I love the image. I also love the "hundred-yard eyes" descriptor, and that...sort of ties in with something that's been in the back of my head since I watched "Evolution of the Daleks," which I'll have to tell you about later.
And Mac and Danny in the rain is just...guh. *Filthy*, like Danny thinks, in the very best way. Rainwater. Yes.
The disadvantage of only 2 other people writing them is that you rarely can get the shiny that you crave, but on the flipside you know it's going to be damn good when you do.
It's little but it's good and distinct, and I like how it's Mac learning to be ok with it rather than Jack and his already ok attitude. And pretty much mo matter how you cut it, Mac/Jack is yummy. :-D
Oh, I love, especially because - like you - I am incapable of handling this Atlanta heat, and Flack suffering (if only in fiction) like the rest of us gives me a little relief. I'm really fond of all of these, actually; great work.
I'm a recently de-lurked longtime lurker, and I figured there was no time like the present to start making up for all the commenting on fic that I haven't done.
I love the tone of the Mac/Flack piece, and the banter in the Flack-and-Danny is just right.
(Random question. Were you the author of a drabble in which Lindsay had a conversation with Hawkes that hinted that her deep dark secret had to do with "prairie justice?" I've been trying to find it, but I haven't had any luck.)
Flack walks into the Police Box--which looks like a prop from a goddamn movie--turns around and walks right back out again. He makes a circle of the big blue thing, storms back inside, and shakes his head at the freak who wears Chuck Taylors with a damn nice pinstripe suit. "Fine. I get it. What now?"

Yep, as in CSI. I'm impressed that someone actually caught that.
