I think this could, potentially, be IC, though I don't know what would be needed to push Mac to this... I don't know if everything that happened to the lab here would be enough to push him to this, or what.

But I ♥ it anyways!

I gotta agree with limmenel on the IC-ness. Raising Shane is an episode where we get to see Mac go a little bit wacko. There's a few times when he loses his temper, and in context of the last episode, I think we can sort of see that it's possible to push Mac beyond his limits.

Plus, totally AU, he'd make a great hitman, ala Professional.

Oh, Mac. This is absolutely in-character, and it's chillingly so. Given a series of events like you describe here, I can easily see Mac being pushed to this kind of edge, and if he were, he would be utterly ruthless and smart about it. I love the part with him thinking about civilian casualties, and this gave me chills: Thank God, because if it were otherwise, Mac would have needed a different strategy, a way to draw this out as long as possible.

Because he would. He *could*.
