Oh God, I have this whole theory about his motivations that I have to be reminded to keep in check because it's not proven canon (seriously, I have pie charts) so the "insubordinate" was hard to write with a straight face!

Also, I love that you mentioned the thing about Aldo using Tennessee as an advantage. I love that concept that he knows exactly what's going on most of the time and he has more control of the situation that people think he does. =)

Also, I had a couple of favorite lines. I thought these were very well written:

The bat was quick, it was easy, and it traveled well. I love that whole paragraph. <3

“You would prefer French?” He asked. - I like the idea of Stiglitz kinda being a diva. Very sexy and manipulative of him.

This is definitely one of the best Basterds fics I've read so far. I can't wait for the next chapters! Keep up the good work! <3

Thank you so much! I can't tell you how excited I get when people tell me exactly what they like (I'm a little freakish about it, tbh) so yay!

And yeah, coming from the South myself, I totally use my accent to my advantage all the freaking time, so I figured it was a pretty safe bet Aldo and his wily ass did the same.

Donny is by far my favorite character. And since the title involves the Bear Jew, I'm guessing it is going to be mainly about him. At least I'm hoping. And you said this will be slash. What is the pairing...or is it a surprise? I'm very excited for the next chapter.

The second chapter is very much Aldo/Donny. We're going to be exploring a lot with this story. So we should see a lot of other characters coming in and being developed along with this story line!
