So sweet that you are the special auntie!

I was so close in age to my nieces and nephews that I was more of a peer and not a respected auntie per se...and as I now find out, they were in a tizzy desperately wanting to come hang out bug me in my room (which I'd shut them out of while I did Kewl Teenage Stuff...even Kewl Teenage Stuff done by a nerd is Kewl to preteens, I guess). Meanwhile, DH's nieces think we're pretty special, and treat us like the family elders...which I guess we are, now. Sigh.

It sounds like a wonderful time! And brings back fond memories of noshing on Xmas cookies and milk for Austin. So much fun!
