SIFF: Tornado Alley

I've been a fan of the Discovery Channel series Storm Chasers for a couple of years now. Partly my interest has been in the science and the amazing storm videos. Partly it has come from getting to know the people at the center of the show--the meteorologists and chasers who spend entire seasons driving from one end of Tornado Alley to the other

Might be interesting to let a filmmaker have access to the footage and see how it would be re-cut.

It certainly would be. An outside perspective would probably serve the film well. Casey is clearly a talented photographer, and Tornado Alley is his second documentary feature, so he's not unfamiliar with film making. He may just not be a gifted storyteller.
