My new desk and its fallout

I have spent the better part of this afternoon rearranging books and figurines and furniture. The goal: to make room for the new desk I bought myself earlier this week. It's been needed for a while now. The wall unit that I purchased a couple of years back, with its little writing desk in the middle, wasn't really getting the job done. The desk was ( Read more... )

You're probably correct. Dinner is in the oven, but the kitchen table is covered with stuff. Even thinking about sorting it all makes me tired. I'll have to do something about it, though, and soon. ::whimper::

Remind me to show you a picture of the desk I've been collecting tools and materials to make once I can carry more than five pounds. I think you'll like the design. As far as decluttering goes, I have no great advice for you--after all, you've seen my library. Amy T. once hired an expert to help her declutter who she ended speaking highly of, so you might ask her for a referral...

Just move one thing. Figure out what to do with it, and then breathe. Then, if you feel up to it, go move one more thing. Ignore the pile of things. Just put away the one thing you're going to move. You can do it. *hug*
