Poll The most important question...

ETA: At this writing (11:20 AM) response from Facebook Nation is generally for straight hair. Response from LJ Community is Narf -- you people are no help at all. Useful response from LJ Community is curly hair. The number of responses, all things considered, says straight hair. Hm....

silly, polls

Pink and purple narf, with a side of fauxhawk! :-)

Fauxhawk? Really? I'm not so sure that would work on me.

It was the first narfish hairstyle I could name. I'm sure there are others that you can do that are better for you :-)

If you have any Jell-O, Dave can show you how to do a Centauri--he's got pictures from the makeup area around somewhere from when he got a tour of the set.

Mind you, that style would probably work better in a less windy city than Seattle. On the other hand, if you put on a pair of skates you could probably outrace Sister Bertrille anyplace that's not directly over Puget Sound!

Yeah, but Centauri women were bald. Something I don't think she wants...

Except for one ponytail in back. But your point is taken. Besides, I know my head. My bald head would not be pretty.

Well, I was assuming that rather than the female bald-out or the standard male side-to-side she'd want a front-to-back cut so she could easily tack while on skates rather than having to get the wind mostly behind her to go forward--she doesn't have the keel of a clipper ship, so being rigged like one gives her no real advantage.

I figured that, as I came to this late, I might as well throw in with Narf!

When is a ticky box not a ticky box? djonn February 12 2011, 00:02:39 UTC
The landslide for "Narf!" is a function of the poll design -- which is to say, that's what happens when one uses radio buttons (limiting the voter to one choice) as opposed to ticky boxes (allowing multiple-choice answers).

[signed, too late in the day to vote profitably anyway]
