And now that you have posted, I have been keeping from you the chortlesome fact that I own, actually own, the pineapple teapot! Yes, indeed. Feel guilty about the pig no longer!
The pineapple teapot is in fact the first teapot I purchased dozens of years ago, it is every bit as ugly as it looks, but for totally sentimental reasons (it's the first!) I am loathe to part with it, even though it's chipped to bits (I actually made, and drank, tea from it back when my mother was still alive) and it's nearly gray with age now.
I thought it was a hoot when you photographed it, and bit my tongue. :-)
*sigh* I remember that day well. Sadly, it was the last time when I really went looking and practicing my ID skills. I plan on changing that. Funny that I was thinking about it yesterday. I have to make it *my* interest\hobby\business and forget that I used to share it w/ someone.
I hope that Merlin perks up-sick kitties stress the hell out of me.
