Happy beginning of Passover! Congratulations on selling a story-that's fantastic news. :) Oh ick-sorry to hear about the computer. Let me know if things are especially nasty as I know MAC people-as in folks that think nothing of takin' em apart and making them work.

Yep. He's from Evergreen college, and also does some cooler things with huge feather fans. He's a bit odd - and always ends up hanging around me when I dance.

Not as much of a problem now that we don't do conventions.

I was relatively happy with the Apple Genius Bar (at University) recently, although the guys they sent my laptop out to pissed me off. You may have the same problem as me (apparently there's a problem with the video card connection that's common with G4 iBooks, if that's what you have). But if you do send it in and you have extra RAM in there, make sure it doesn't go missing during the repair process like mine did.
