Proof of ... well ... something

Since matociquala has formally forbidden us all to say that we suck, I can't say that or anything like it this evening. The temptation to say such (and therefore the necessity to resist it) is a result of the accumulation of the following evidence ( Read more... )

health, doctor who, idiot ideas, movies

what's that about, I ask you?

Have you ever listened to "Forbidden Broadway Strikes Back"? (Elaine Paige, I won't have a word said against her! ... But a five foot Norma Desmond? I ask you!) Now you've got it stuck in my head!

Just finished Season 1 on Thursday. Pretty nice overall, and I was glad I could finally discover where I had seen the Dr. in the same leather jacket as a villain talking smack with a gun.

Recently a local *excellent* Thai place emerged, and lo, they bring take-out.

Hope you enjoy your pizza, and the foot gets better. Have you tried crutches, yes they suck, but it might take up some of the stain and leave you less tired.

Not just spectacular. It's fan-freaking-tastic! It's fanwank through and through; but for once, it's good fanwank.

We took a moment, both of us being NY expatriates, to bemoan the lack of decent Chinese food delivery in Seattle (what's that about, I ask you?)

Unless Judy Fu's Snappy Dragon will stretch it's delivery area to accommodate you, which is unlikely, you are well and truly stuck--the International District Chinese restaurants don't deliver to your area and Pandasia's kitchen never really recovered after Judy left.

(Haven't we taken you to the Snappy Dragon? Have to do that: the only really good Chinese restaurant north of the International District and west of Bellevue, and it does huge amounts of delivery because of that--since she makes her own noodles anything with them in it is exceptional. Don't ever order the sweet-and-sour pork: it's the one true dud on the entire menu and will make the idea of Flubber covered barbecue suddenly attractive.)

Believe me, I don't need you to tell me that I'm screwed on the Chinese food delivery thing. It's an affront to man and God as far as I'm concerned.

I've been to Snappy Dragon with other folks. It's quite fine. But they don't deliver, at least not here. ::sigh::

You were in my neighborhood? You should've called-I was either home or very close by where I was dog/house sitting. Broken foot!? Good gods I've been out of it. I wish you quick healing. You don't have to be from NY to be unhappy w/ the Chinese take out in Seattle; what gives!? You'd think a town w/ a large Chinese population would have a plethora of decent chinese places. Whatever.

I'm often in Captiol Hill. I figured if you were house sitting, you wouldn't be available.

And yes, I broke my foot two weeks ago. Ended up doing a full day of performing on it before I knew what the situation was. I have deep foot hate right now.

And yes, the Chinese delivery around here is non-existent, which sucks.

Good gods...I'm glad that it didn't get REALLY bad from performing on it. Silly, the house can take of i

Heh. I'm generally available on the weekends and many week nights as I'm apparently not very good company. *shrug*
