Me and foodI've been doing a lot of self medicating with food lately. I realized yesterday that most of what I ate had been bread of some kind. I didn't leave the house. I feel your pain - truly wuly - and share your excitement about the construction. Yay! Give those glass people the stink eye. It seems like every project like that with a contractor involves one component of worker who doesn't show up when promised and drags the thing out; I've heard so many anecdotes about it that it's apparently a kind of Murphy's Law. Let you be the exception.

We had part of the house under renovation a few weeks ago--I'm so glad it's done. Now the Gryffindor is talking about other work on the house, and I'm bristling at the thought XD

How to tell a strawberry is ripe: give it a gentle tug. If it's ready to pluck, the stem will break right off. If it' resists, it's not yet ready.

In my experience, strawberries are ripe about half a day after the critters steal them. Argh.
