Next: There should be ways to free up space on your laptop. Lots of stuff you'll never need again, builds up over the years and can be jettisoned. No? There used to be a shareware app called Where's My Disk Space? I don't know if it exists anymore, but it taught me anyway to look in Finder by file size and investigate files that are weirdly huge and see if they can be gotten rid of.
Glad you're getting help with the depression. I really empathize. You know that.
