You're not engaged with DA because the writing it jumped the shark two seasons ago. Anyway, so say all the TV critics I read. I stopped watching after the death of Matthew, not that I liked him especially but I just stopped caring about all of it.

Re: the lodgings issue: Finally got a response from one of the places yesterday. I'm going to wait one more day to see if any of the other places I queried answer me, and then I'll be making a commitment. Once that's done, I hope to be able to make plans for meals and so on. Some of my schedule is already spoken for by the evening events drawing me to town, but there are possibilities for lunches and dinners once those obligations are nailed down. I will be in touch.

Somebody (was it you?) posted a strong recommendation that Sherlock was worth watching. So I went to the website and watched season 1, episode 1. I liked it. I liked it a lot. I really didn't need anything new to keep me from writing -- that ecological niche is quite full already -- but I may need to make some time for Sherlock.

I don't know if it was me but I'd stand by that recommendation. Take heart in the fact that there are only 3 episodes per season and they're only 1.5 hours long. You'll be back to writing in no time! :-)
