As I start this journal entry, it has no title because I'm not sure of all the ground I'm going to cover; I know it will be wide and deep. Perhaps the entry will have a title before I'm done

I think this is the challenge of this particular decade. The idea of "gills, fins and a tail to just keep swimming" is very accurate. So much is coming at us at this point. One of the part of being in your 50s is learning recognize where your choices are simply how you are going to swim, and remembering that you will get closer to where you want to be if you see the current as an ally instead of an enemy. At least that's how it works for me.
I was meditating on this today and it seemed appropriate here.
