So, if you believe some (mathematically and culturally-challenged) people, tomorrow the world ends. Over on Facebook, Jeff VanderMeer proposes that "Mayan Apocalypse" sounds like the name of a cocktail. So what, exactly, would be in the Mayan Apocalypse cocktail? Something citrusy with spice? It's a hot chocolate drink with a cinnamon, a habanero pepper, no sugar, some liqueur we've never heard of because it never get exported from Mexico, and a chunk of dry ice for that scary erupting volcano effect. It looks fabulous sitting on the bar until you realize you have to leave because the dry ice smoke has carried the habanero oil into the air and it's getting in everybody's eyes.

Kate's sounds more authentic, but AllanH's sounds more like something I'd want to drink during an apocalypse. Or, you know, anytime.
