Paris, day 3: Besotted with Beauty-- Notre Dame and the Louvre

The day started early. We got up at 6ish with the sun still set, washed up, had a light breakfast, and headed over to Notre Dame to finally see the interior. Folks, this is the way to site-see: Get up early and beat the crowds. I got to experience what this church is like when it's populated mainly by the clergy and the sparse and scattered

I also am a fan of Winged Victory. It is one of the few statues I would truly like a good copy of, even a miniature.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who was absolutely blown away by Winged Victory! Your writing about these things shows you could probably give "Meester Reek" a run for his money in the descriptive category!
