Paris with the Sleepies

We arrived in Paris exactly on time and, after navigating the endless hallways and thoroughfares of de Gaulle airport, finally got through passport control and into a taxi. Sleep well. Do you know Roseann Cash's song, "Sleeping in Paris"? It is a lovely, bittersweet thing.

I bought a copy of Hemingway's A Moveable Feast at Shakespeare & Co, because it seemed the thing to do.

Turns out that there's an Apple store in the mall beneath the Louvre, which is where we want to enter the museum from anyway. We'll see what happens.

Merveilleux! Notre Dame, Shakespeare & Co., ancient trees, comics, champagne - so many wonders in only one day. I don't know how I'll ever get there, but I will someday. Until then, merci mille fois for the reportage. :->

De rien, Marty! I'm hoping for more wonders today, though I don't know how long I'll last. I woke at 3:45 Am and haven't been able to get back to sleep. :(
