Congrats on the job. I think the retreat was a good decision, too. You needed it in many ways. If you're interested, I'd likely to get back on a weekly writing schedule.

Fantastic! Yay job, and yay writing. A dear friend contracts for LCA, and looooooves it - hopefully you will have a similar experience of friendly, hardworking, ethical people.

Also, saw the comment above about giving good interview. I've relied on my E-coast training far more than most W-coast natives realize, I think. Heck, just because I don't choose to wear heels and lipstick most of the time doesn't mean I don't know how. ;-)
