Wardens ...look. I know the barge isn't conducive to security efforts. But.
[He trails off, not used to an environment when people can just go missing two days at a time. Immediately he checks his warden item to see if Rassilon's all right.]
Don't even try to make excuses for this fuckup. Not to the person who suffered because of it. There is no excuse for this and I am fresh out of forgiveness.

A warden here once went missing for so long he died. I don't specifically remember the details.
I'm not sure it was particularly personal to you, just... a mistake. A horrific, horrible mistake.
But in a place where people leave and we just shrug our shoulders and presume it's nothing important - in a place where people presume a coma is nothing serious and just a minor inconvenience, what do you expect? This is what this environment breeds, and we do nothing about it.
So I'm sorry. I've only talked to you once, but I'm sorry I didn't notice.
Re: Thredjak- warden filter needshumilitySeptember 20 2011, 20:24:57 UTC
No, perfectly welcome. Because I don't know.
I presume it's because some people here like to write off people disappearing, write off people going into comas and so forth as... well, the Admiral's doing.
So when people actually go missing, we just think they've gone home for a few days, will be back on Tuesday, nothing to worry about. I'm sure people did it when that guy died.
I'm no expert in looking after people or searching for them, but the complacency (did I use that right?) is common and prevalent if you ask me.
Because my powers are so damned weakened I have to go to friends for protection when something bad goes down. When the vampire-on-the-loose announcement happened I went to the nearest friend's cabin. A guy who was my friend, my Warden's boyfriend and claimed to care about me deeply.
When I got there, Franklin lost his shit, tied me to a bed and left me like that until Luke broke the door in because of something else. And even then, I had to talk Franklin into letting me go. After waiting, and waiting, and waiting for someone to come help me because my powers aren't strong enough to do shit this way.
[Private] Nnnng, he wouldn't say that. Comment redo!most_fearedSeptember 20 2011, 20:55:05 UTC
Franklin tied you to a bed?
....FUCK! I didn't even know how close you were. GOD fucking DAMMIT! [He should have realized!
He did this to his last warden when there was a crisis. She had to ask for a resort. He's kicking himself for not remembering this, but he honestly didn't know.] I used a scanner, but they won't penetrate private rooms. Shit.
[So glad he can cuss again, because the situation calls for it.]

Thank you for trying, anyway. But...
...I think I can only really rely on myself for protection from now on. I just want my powers back so no one can hurt me anymore. That's all I want right now. It's not too much to ask. It's not.
You know who else got kidnapped? Notifs.19centconstableSeptember 21 2011, 01:05:29 UTC
I've been a bit wrapped up in an investigation; Mr. Spinola had been bringing me meals in my room actually, before we docked and he... Although it's not entirely abnormal for me to go for several days without running into you, not that I'd mind if that were to change...
But that's all neither here nor there: what happened?
I was kidnapped and held for two days, and I didn't have enough power to break free. I can't rely on anyone and Tony won't give me my powers back. I'm being set up to be a perpetual victim and I'd rather die.
