During my Fallout UK post, I forgot to mention that, instead of giant scorpions and molerats, there'd be giant foxes. (The Daily Mail says foxes are getting bigger, so it must be true.) I might be more worried about the big mystery cats, though.
On the subject of how popular sci-fi plot devices would pan out differently this side of the atlantic, I saw this trailer at the pictures and was strangly reminded of you;
The film looks like it will be a great laugh! How often do things go tits-up and you just want to go home, lock the door and play fifa?
Only not fifa. Because it's shit. The X-box adaptation of Two Worlds for the PC has been my bolthole of choice lately; the menus are the stuff of nightmares, but the world seems to roll on forever and keeps me occupied. Dragon Age was awesome, but I'm keeping the sequel at a suspicious arm's distance for the time being.

Attack the Block
Don't worry, I occasionally pop back to re-read several of your Dan/Ror fics (which are fab), so it's not too horrifically stalkerish. Honest.
