Sorry to hear that your arm is plagued with boo-boos. Fabulous footwear - while fabulous - can be so dangerous; I gracelessly removed the skin from my knees during one particularly nasty tumble in 3" high heels last year. (Unfortunately, I was running late for an 8:00a board meeting at the time, and disgusted my former management with two very bloody knees.) But still...the shoes rocked.

we listened to--unicorns and blonde redhead. unfortunately he didn't have hard copies to share. it was well liked on my part.

I've heard a few bits of Okkervil before and definitely dug it. One of these days, I'll actually snag the CD...

I have a Unicorns album (Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone). Good band, but with a sound alarmingly similiar to that of the Quizno's sponge-monkey-things on occasion. Weird. ;)

Aunt-hood is a wonderful thing. That's all I need. My nephews are enough. Motherhood doesn't even seem necessary.
I'm glad you had a great weekend (sans the arm bruising). BTW...I'm a big fan of anrica gel for bruising, sprains, or other assorted high heel shoe running accidents!
