the geek in me is forcing my fingers to type out the following comments on the word abulia: it is actually a technical term used in the mental health field. while there is ambiguity as to exactly what constitutes abulia (what level of loss of motivation is clinically significant?), there is also a fair amount of consensus and it is actually used in the diagnosis of certain DSM-IV disorders. also i believe it's technical definition refers more to motivational issues than decision-making per se... take caution as to how you use it around clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, and psych majors ;)
It IS a small world. That is crazy really, what is even crzier is that after all this time you somehow remembered that I was from Columbus, Georgia. If you go to www.dictionary.com you can get a word of the day emailed to you everyday, thats what I do.
