to shake you up to break the structure up

So I ended up writing, like, five complete fics, two new WIPs as part of two different series and I added a chapter to my actor AU. I was very busy over the last two days. I'll post the other stories tomorrow, but here's my new AU series that I'm really excited for. So excited it was pretty much all I wrote yesterday. And this morning. Enjoy!

It astounds me how much you write. I'm lucky if I get a couple thousand words a day, and you're writing multiple fics! ♥

I'm weird like that, I think. I don't know many other authors who can write as much as I do, fanfic or otherwise. I mean, one of those five is 12,162 words long and I wrote it in a little over five hours. I think over 48 hours I wrote roughly 25K total? I guess when I have the time I just ignore everything and focus on writing. I have actually finished entire 15K big bang fics in eight hours before. And the worst part is I still have more writing to do when I get home tonight and tomorrow after my visit with my son. I have a little over a month to finish the Angsty Fic O'Doom and I'm only on chapter 6 of 11, plus I have four other big bang fics with 10K minimums that I've signed up for. I'm just kind of hoping my boss gives me more than just one day off like he did this week for the next few weeks.

Wow... those numbers of words make me antsy just reading them there! I wish I had your discipline. I have a severe case of OH-LOOK-IT'S-SHINY! disease. I swear if I ever get to the point of writing anything publishable, I'm investing in an office with no internet so I can't be distracted!

I generally tend to take any days off where I can just veg at home for an entire day to write as being the best days ever since I don't have internet or cable at home, especially if I don't have to work the next day, either. Those days I generally wake up at 10 AM and write until 2 or 3 in the morning. I mean, "Tell the World I'm Coming Home" ended up being novel length at just over 100K and I wrote it in six weeks because I'd write after work for three or four hours a night and pound out about four or five chapters a week. But there were weeks I got distracted, too, usually by other stories I was writing that actually had deadlines. This is probably the reason I have 15 works in progress that I've kind of abandoned because I generally tend to have a "OOOH, SHINY NEW SHERLOCK/MOLLY FIC IDEA!" problem. The fact that two of the stories I wrote in the last 48 hours were not Sherlock/Molly has surprised me greatly.
