There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with sitting and waiting. Problem with sitting and waiting is that it can take a REEEEALLY long time, and near the end of the time sometimes people get tired and give up RIGHT BEFORE they get their chance. *Totally done it*

It really depends on what kind of relationship he has with his girly. If it's a good, strong one, then I think the best thing you can do is wait. I think you should show him how happy you can be while you're single. Show him what a strong and independent woman you are. It makes you appealing while at the same time, you're not ACTUALLY making a move on him. Because... if you make a move, then at that very second you become a super bitch :| The line between being friendly and flirty is sooo thin, it's awful. XD

You know, I have this exact same situation going on. >.> I've found this super duper awesome guy and he already has a girlfriend. I'm waiting (again), because I swear to god I'm getting close XD So yeah, that's my advice: sit and wait XD

I sat and waited... >.> 2 years. 1 year for him to break up with his girlfriend, and then 1 year to convince him he wanted me. Although as I am horrible at the actual getting the guy thing, so it was WAY totally luck. BUT its been 3 1/2 years, so waiting can sometimes work. <33
