the most recent colors issue (72) is "without colors," dedicated to the blind and visually impaired. included is an audio cd, each page read in each language colors is published. when i inserted the cd it opened in windows media player. when the narration began a visual effect in the media player began simultaneously. i felt foolish. i switched it ( Read more... )

today i biked to capitola and on the way back to santa cruz a younger guy in a fast black car and wife beater with tatoos and short gelled hair yelled "show me your hairy pits, santa cruz girl!" though they frequently are, this time my pits were not so hairy and i was sorry to disappoint him.
