Eating fish upsets me almost more than any other diet-based decision. There'll be none left anywhere eventually.

I hear ya J... i mean look at the trawlers are disgusting, they wipe out one species then go on to the next... and really the only solution i can see is lab grown inVitro flesh for human consumption (I mean aside from going 100% raw veggie). Way back about a dozen years ago, i found myself in th eside of a waterfall watching salmon spawn. there were a bunch of natives there fishing with gaffs like they had for thousands of years. i was all busy thining how close to nature it was, but also watching every third fish get away (well get away for a little whgile, with a huge hole in it's side). then the guy i was watching threw a club at me (i had been a vegetarian for over 5 years alreay) saying "dont just stand there, help me" so i had to kill them once he had pierced them... it was kinda queasy, but still sustainable. now whatis going on, there is no sustainability anywhere. and the investors dont care because once theres no salmon they go harvest shrimp, when there's no shrimp they invest in computers ( ... )
