A form of Semi-Democratic Socialism. That which the government helps its citizens with lots of government run programs(ie Social Security, Health Care, etc)
The business aspect should be somewhat capitalist, though. Kind of like China's but maybe a little bit more toward capitalism.
agreed, there needs to be a good flow of ideas as seen with capitalism, but companies need to be kept in check and very separate from the government, so the president cant attack a country in order for he and his oil tycoon buddies can get more money. School should be payed for 6 years after high school so long as the student can maintain a B average. Also, all idiots should be deported, and Texas should be given to mexico, although I realize that isnt economics-related.
Yes I would have to agree with Joe and Kristen on this one. I believe that a truly communist/socialist utopia would be impossible to say the least. This is primarily because there is no incentive to achieve in these environments. When a doctor makes just as much as a garbage man what incentive is there for that doctor to go through 4 or more years of medical school, and do the work he does day in and day out. Hard work and good ideas should be rewarded(Capitalism), but at the same time those less fortunate should be given tools by their government to help insure their success and safety(Socialism). Within this government environmental protections, and renewable resources should be key as to help keep capitalism's wasteful and absorbent tendencies to a minimum.
