Redid the knuckles again today, using alcohol and lemon juice for ink. Probably the 29th I re-punctured the undertongue piece with a 3 needle and tore/stretched it raw to 7.

(Did it once happen I was, we were, at the shop: it was summer, started raining. We, wordless, received the first soft thunderclap, all got ourselves a cup of coffee and went outside, our backs to the wall; silently watched the lightning?)

Today I learned how long the marathon is. This led to my discovering I have now for a year or so run on average three marathons every week. This new scrap of information amuses me a little. I think I might as well invest in an actual pair of sneakers now.
