i loved it! the first hp movie i haven't walked away from feeling disappointed. i'm totally biased and not a big fan of the movies (goblet of fire is the only other one i think was done well), but i went in with a good feeling about this one and left with an even better feeling about part 2.

cut for spoilers )

Hahaha, I agree with like every word you just wrote! There was a lot more missing than what I initially remember just because I was so happy that it wasn't a ruined movie. Overall though, I'm very pleased with it. I'm so glad we went togetherrrrrr!!!!! And there is no way we are missing part 2!!!

Interestingly enough, I think Goblet of Fire was the first one where I started getting really disappointed. They cut out so much of it but had time for Harry getting chased everywhere by a dragon? Nuuuuu!!!

Hahaha, Ginny! "Here's my back, Harry!" And Draco was pretty perfect. You can really see how far in over his head he is.

I was really upset over Harry getting Hermione to dance too. Sometimes the movies hardcore ship Harry and Hermione, and I was concerned about that scene. I do love how the smile just slides off her face, though, when the song ends and she steps away from Harry, and I like the song they dance to.

Didn't you just love the three actors who play the trio as they infiltrate the Ministry? So awkward.

i think the reason i liked goblet of fire could be a combination of things other than the movie itself; it was the first hp movie i went to see in theaters, and i could also like it for the same reasons i like the book so much (heavier plot, learning more about hogwarts students and other schools, etc., exciting to see it on screen). but then ootp was worse and hbp was even worse and ugh, i'm glad this one came out so well!

the ministry trio, i LOVED THEM. perfect.

It was exciting to see things from Goblet on screen. I about died of happiness when I saw the dancing Beauxbaton girls at the theme park, so I can't have not liked the movie that much, right? XD

I just read today that Evanna Lynch choreographed Luna's and Xeno's dance for the wedding. I love her a million times. XD XD
