[Backdated to the day before Thanksgiving]
I'll be cooking dinner at the Blackstone tomorrow night for anyone who'd like to join me. Turkey, of course, cranberry sauce, plenty of side dishes, pies for dessert.
There will be plenty of food, and you're welcome to come help cook or to bring a dish along with you. Obviously, with such diverse residents, disagreements are unavoidable, but the invitation and the food come with the condition of a conflict-free evening.
I may have to spend the day separate from my husband and children, but there are still blessings for which we can give thanks.
